A Very TCB Christmas
Tony and I got a little closer this past Christmas weekend. Allow me to walk you through it:
First, at an Ugly-Christmas-Sweater party, Tony got a little upset after losing a few games in flip-cup. He walked over, started messing around, then out of nowhere punched me in the face. Popped me right in the jaw.
Miraculously, our buddy captured the point of impact. You can almost see my face ripple:
As you can also see in the picture, Tony’s has a “Holy shit! I actually did this!” look plastered all over his face.
Sincerely apologetic for the hit, Tony and the rest of the room believed I was entitled to a free slap as payback.
Then, this happened:
Awesome.
But, a TCB Christmas embodies more than violence amongst friends. There is also excellent gift giving. I found a broken typewriter for a buck at my sister’s garage sale:
Tony was ecstatic. Mainly because he was now able to do his best Joe Posnanski impression.
So, that’s it from us. Merry (belated) Christmas and Happy Holidays from TCB.
